You’re always in control
Whether you want to disconnect one account, remove all connections, or delete your entire Tendrill account, the process is straightforward. Here’s how to manage your data.Options available

Disconnecting a single account
If you want to remove one brokerage but keep using Tendrill:Via dashboard

What happens next
- Immediately: Tendrill loses access to that account
- Within 24 hours: All data from that account is deleted
- Alerts: Any alerts for stocks only in that account are cancelled
- Other accounts: Unaffected
Disconnecting all accounts
To remove all brokerage connections while keeping your Tendrill account:Deleting your Tendrill account

- Body: Your phone number and confirmation
What gets deleted
Immediately upon disconnection
- Access to your brokerage account(s)
- Real-time monitoring stops
- No new data collected
Within 24 hours
- Holdings and positions data
- Account balances
- Transaction history
- Active alerts for removed positions
Within 30 days
- Backup copies are purged
- Audit logs (anonymized) may remain for security
Preserved unless you request deletion
- Conversation history (can be deleted separately)
- Anonymized usage statistics
Deleting conversation history only

- You’ll receive confirmation when complete
Can I get my data back after deletion?
Can I get my data back after deletion?
No. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you really want to delete before confirming.
Will my brokerage know I disconnected?
Will my brokerage know I disconnected?
No. Disconnecting from Tendrill doesn’t affect your brokerage account in any way. The connection was read-only and one-directional.
What if I just want to pause?
What if I just want to pause?
Instead of deleting, you can:
- Text “pause alerts” to stop notifications temporarily
- Disconnect accounts but keep your Tendrill account
- Resume anytime without losing settings
